How to kill a goldfish fast and without pain.?
I have a goldfish that we found in an abandoned pond. He is now living in a filtered 10 gallon tank. He is a common goldfish and is about an inch in size. I know this is not a tank that he can live in but I am getting a 35 gallon Fish Tank soon. But I wanted to get different fish that prefer warmer water. (neon tetras, mollies, ect) I live about 200 miles away from the nearest pet shop and I don’t think he could make that drive to sell him. I really like the fish but he is just not going to work for my other fish. What is the best way to kill him without pain and very fast?

Goldfish are very tolerant of warm water and he would do just fine in the bigger tank. He will also eat any snails that sometimes come from pet store water. If u really don’t want him u should donate him like the others have suggested.
